Clarias Catfish

I've been offered a 9" clarias cat for free and was wondering how they are with aggressive cichlids? It would be sharing a 260 gal with a 9" jag, 8" mayan and a 6" male festae.. Good/bad idea?

They can be very aggressive once lights go out. I wouldn't worry about aggression given your stocklist and tank size though.

My common walking cats were a nightmare with non-aggressive tank mates in a 55 gal and 240 gal, with which they have been completely fine in a 1500 gal and 4500 gal.

There is a chance this may reach some sort of equilibrium state (fragile, intermittent peace) with aggressive tank mates or you may simply luck out and all will be more or less fine.
