8 gallons is not going to make a difference to an arowana. If the tank is only 18" wide your jardini will eventually need bigger tank anyway, whether your tank is 125 gallons or not. @ draken- watch the language, this is a family friendly site.

Just to clarify I measure my tank 96x36x30" and did the conversion, it comes up 449.47g the guy I bought it from said it was a 450gallon.
So just as in the original post, this information is completely useless
