Meet Clark the Sajica!
I purchased this guy back in early-October @ 1.5". Surprisingly (for a Crypto), he has grown quite fast. He's around 4.5" now and continuing the fill out. The key for me has been a wide-variety of quality foods and 2 x 50% weekly water changes. These are beefy fish for being one of the smaller CA Cichlids in the hobby. The body/shape reminds me of a miniature version of a Midas (or other Amph I've owned over the years).
He currently resides in a 40G breeder community tank and doing great. It's amazing how calm this species is in the absence of other Sajicas. Truly a gentle, curious, and intelligent little fella. This species is a lot of fun to keep.
