FYI- They have a bunch in right now. They’re all very healthy and around 2” or so.
Gorgeous Amph. I had a big boy like that (14”) that lived over 10 years. I believe I bought him from there as well. BTW- Nice looking tank.
I appreciate it. I hope he gets that big and lives that long. You know anyone local that deals in Amphs? Like Chanchos or Hogas?
Unfortunately, no. I’ve always ordered through TUC when it comes to speciality Amphs. They always have a number of excellent Amphs on their website. One of my favorite Amphs I’ve ever owned (a Xilo) was purchased from them back when Jeff owned the company.
Yahh I was looking at them or COTA has a really nice selection. Unfortunately they have that $100 minimum purchase that sucks. Plan is to stack a couple 125s in the basement and keep 2 more solo males of some sort. Wanting to stick with some sort of Amphilophus, mainly because I don’t want a fish that is skittish/hides the majority of the time. Especially at juvenile age, which seems to be the case with a lot of these big glass banger predator cichlids.
