Very nice. You are the first one with that fish I came across. They grow to almost 3' TL. How big and old is yours? Can you please share some info on the care, habits, diet, handling, whatever else you find interesting and edifying?

Just picked him up almost a month ago. He measures just over 12". Currently is feeding on massivore and shrimp. Hasn't shown any interest in nightcrawlers. He's pretty laid back and lives with my motoros. Like most cats he's more active at night and hides in a cave during the day.
Any other info I'll update.

Over all he's pretty cool. Never seen one before and know they're pretty rare.

Thanks much. He is very rare. Was it a trade-in/return at an LFS or you are the first owner? I mean how did you get him, if you will? Good luck. Looking forward to updates.
 
I'm the first owner. LFS knew it was rare so they ordered it in. No one paid any attention to it. I originally went in to buy the 9" tiger shovelnose they had. Guy ended up talking me into this cat and $30 later he was boxed up and in my car.

Im pretty happy that I got him instead of the TSN.
