Getting a little bored with this game myself. I don't have the time to build troops and attack, so I have to rely on harvesting what I can produce. Between waiting on that and being attaked every two minutes, I never build up enough money to do anything. I'm lucky to keep one builder busy.

On that topic, anyone got any good layouts for a TH8 that will help protect against raids?
 
I tossed the towel on defense. I realized I will not ever have a maxed base and I'm ok with that lol. I'm going after Dark Elixir to upgrade my royalty so I can hunt fulltime :)
 
The key to keep people off your base sometimes is to get the perception that the base is hard.

Truth to be told, all bases can be taken if the attacker build the right force.

For town hall 8, if you keep your trophy level around 1400 and has decent layout, you should not have any problems getting looted. See my layout earlier in the thread. Not the best but I don't get attacked that often.

For pure resource raiding, I don't build fancy stuff. A few wall breakers, archers and barbarians are my mix. I can fight every 20-30 min. If I chose the right base, I get a couple of million gold every day(I don't play continuously). If someone attacks me, all they take is an attack or two worth of resources.

we're on a 12 year win streak. i'm lovin getting 500k-700k each gold and elixir and 1200-2000 dark e every other day

Great way to farm lol. all it takes is win 2 attacks and you don't have to hit next a bunch of time and i get paid


pharoah, something's wrong if your'e getting attacked every 2 minutes. your'e either holding too much loot or your storages are in bad locations. i'm a th8, usually holding 3-4 mil elixir but no more then 500k gold and i get attacked once during the day and maybe once at night but that's usually when i switch to my war base (storages are in the walls but on the perimiters). with the new update i never have to put them out to the perimeter anymore
 
Lol. I have yet to use them or attack them. It sounds good for defense but not so good for hunters/farmers.

Reading chat and some friends, seems everyone is pissed that the hero damage and hit points dropped.
Im sure the CoC forum will be lit up today lol
