Classic kamfa??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Im not sure what it will turn out when it grows but it has a lot of potential. Beautiful two tone colors, nice body shape and kok, and that distinctive kamfa face. Keep updating

That pinkish red color is distinctive of a classic kamfa but yours appear to have more pearls than the traditional classic kamfa. Classic kamfas originally came from crossing a male red dragon with some type of female parrot or even midas. The pearls may have come from crossing a female offspring (F2) to the father red dragon...in which case, your male may be fertile. Just a theory of mine from the years of breeding in the past. Never know till you try. Nice looking FH.

Here are a few classic kamfas I bred years ago:

Nice and interesting information but where does the vieja body shape come from? they look more like viejas more than any of those fish.

Some classic are made with Vieja, it depend on what look your going for. Parrot will usually give u a shorter body and some fader. In my opinion Vieja give it the best color and form.
