I personally appreciate his intent of this thread and do not feel like he was out of line or "Stalkerish". Dame is a word you don't here very often, but then again it may be because in America, we can't exactly say we are the most refined when it comes to social relations. The title is old as time and one which is honored and hard earned in other cultures. To even be associated with that - even if only through one individuals eye's is
flattering. Choosing to acknowledge the women on this forum who contribute, and have more to offer than a pretty smile or provacative avatar is something I respect. Though not every woman on here might be known, that is their choice and not the fault of anyone, so to say it is discriminating, well I just don't see how that is possible. And he never said "These three are the best on MFK", he simply threw out a few he considered worthy of his point. It was left open for all to insert those who they respected, or admired in the hobby for not only their helpfullness, and intelligence, but also for their personalitly as a whole.
Whether or not the thread is "brilliant" or "Stupid" will vary by opinion, but I think anyone with more than two brain cells to rub together will see that this thread was not meant to pick up on, gossip about, or otherwise unecessarily advertise these individuals. It was created to show appreciation to those who other members felt deserved to be acknowledged.
Honestly, we have "How popular are you" threads, "Rate the avatar" threads and others which are essentially pointless, yet people offer their opinions to those. This is no different, aside from the fact that this was done out of genuine respect, and pure intent.
Personally, I feel like there are several women on here who I respect

.... The list could go on. I appreciate what they offer, the fact that they are real, not out to flaunt themselves and fill threads with useless replies. I love the fact that they are educated, well spoken and well rounded women who are passionate about this hobby and bring more to the table than some others.
