Ok thanks. I am planning on getting more for sure but was just scared of adding too much too quickly and causing problems again. Will look for different species though. Maybe a blue legged hermit? Or will he kill snails for his home?

every hermit crab kills snails there are no true reef safe or invert safe hermits. They are not properly sold they are opportunistic feeders meaning they'll go after slow easy food sources and what they can get I am writing an article on them and will have it in a magazine will send you all the link when I am finished.
