Clean up crew for a trimac tank?

Feed a smaller pellet that they can swallow whole, and there will be less to clean up.

Mine LOVED fresh shrimp and gulped it down with no possibility of it crumbling like cichlids sticks etc. Also earthworms, mealworms and a big pellet that doesnt crumble so easily.

Did you post pics of the pair already? If not....whatcha waitin for man? Lets see em!! Not much better looking fish when in pre-spawn or breeding colors!

So far they are takeing the earthworms, crickets, NLS floating pellets and pemysis chunks that I have given them. They wont take the shelled peas or pinapple chunks though. I'm not too worried about it, a quick 5g vac to pick up any major debris every night is no big deal. You have no idea how bad I want a trimac after reading posts like this.

I'd definitely just gravel vaccum it rather than try different fish as clean up crews.
I use a Eheim Automatic Gravel Vaccum if that helps ya out... they run about 60 dollars but are deff worth it
