Ok I might try it I dont have the ray yet but its eating some type of worm I forgot what its called not blood worms.I live in good ole California where it’s illegal to keep anything remotely interesting so I can’t say from personal experience.
But I have kept saltwater rays before. So I do understand how they pounce on prey to eat it. Is your ray used to live food? If not, I’d think you’d be fine. The loaches are fast and will dart in and out of what ever decor you have in the tank. And I know with a large disk, the rays won’t be able to trap a loach if it’s against a piece of wood or a rock.
The stingray will grow bigger than the width of your aquarium. Skunk loaches are another good cleanup fish.
Could do tht too.I'd just gets a few more red head geos. They are always sifting around in the sand looking for a snack so should take car of clean up duties. They hang around the bottom and do better in groups, I had 5 in a group and really enjoyed watching them.
I agree with this, Geos, and many cichlids are adept bottom feeders, so I find it rather redundant to think you need a clean up crew, when they already will eat anything edible, and anything they don't eat, neither will any other fish.I'd just gets a few more red head geos. Agreed. Geos are great for routing up the gravel/sand getting food. But in reality, no fish is going to clean algae and stuff on the substrate enough to matter. I have a pleco and geos but they are not the maid. The only effective cleaner of that other stuff, is you with a siphon.

This. They are amazing.Malaysian trumpit snails are great for keeping substrate clean.
