i think the cat will work as long as the kels wont fit in his mouth but hes like my achara they can fit fish allmost as big as themselves in there mouths

I was kind of worried about the cat too. That's what made me think the Bichir would do better. Do yall not think the Bichir will work?

The bichir will work great as bottom feeders. You need to trade in or give away the rtc x tsn....it will grow way too fast and eat your kels. I would grab a few tinfoil barbs or blood parrots to help train the kels.

For the bottom grab a tig once the kels get a couple more inches on em....unless you can grow one out in another tank....bichirs work great as well. Check out my threads
