Cleaning Large Tank

Hi,

I just got myself a 7 x 2.5 x 2.5 tank with a bottom sump filter. Just wondering if there are any tips or tricks to cleaning/ vacuuming the gravel as its a long way to lean over. Thanks.

thats the plan...ladder and extended vacuum. Just wondering how the guys with bigger tanks do their routine maintenance?

i use my 50ft python and just go through the gravel untill i dont see alot of junk i see the best i can.

I have been bleesed to own a few tanks over 6 feet long.....The only thing I have to say about gravel cleaning is near to none.......I probably stir half of one side once a month and then siphon whatever floats in the water....When I do gravel changes, I am not affraid of doing a 50% water change at the time.........Then I save the other half of the gravel for the next month...Remmenber that proper bacteria also grows within the gravel..........
