Cleaning plastic plants

Is there a way to restore plastic plants to their original color after they turn brown? They're very expensive to keep changing out every 6 months or so

Just clean them with water should come out. Brown algae is easy to take out.

Just rinse them in water, rubbing the algae out with your fingers

Soak in water with a lot of prime
No scrubbing needed

Seriously. This. You can leave it out in the sun for a while before you rinse.

Just spray it with hot water from your faucet and it should come off. I have used this method to remove algae from lots of different things such as air stones, filter sponges, etc.
