Cleaning plexi windows

Our new ray tank is finally running. It has a plexi glas (acrylic) window. With the old glas aquarium, I used a cleaning magnet to clean the glas. However the plexi glas is softer of course.

Are there special (softer) cleaning magnets or an alternative that I can best use?

I believe Mag-Float do two types of cleaners, one for glass and one for acrylic.

Only it doesnt say what the difference is and why it shoudn't scratch. Does anybody heve experience with them?

I have used them. The "scrubby" for the inside is not as course as the one for glass. not a huge difference but it works none the less.

if you use a magnetic cleaner for plexi

1) make sure it is clean
2) wash the plexi on the outside to remove any dirt
3) i spray novus plastic clean and shine #1 on the outside...cleans the plexi and helps the magnet slide

i use a wet rag that is clean on the outsidebetween the magnet and the tank to help the mag slide and prevent scratches
