Cleaning pre-filters?

Gave up on the pre-filters. In less than a week, enough crap (I blame my pleco) collects in each foam pre-filter to make it where my HoBs can't even pull water through the intakes... It was a nice idea while it lasted...
Think I'll go to a pantyhose wrap, lol.

media bags may work ,as well. the pre-filters have to be cleaned a lot...even in low er stocking situations

Yeah, I'll do one or the other. Think I've already got some hose at home, needed bags for humidification beads a while back and grabbed some, lol.
