Cleaning sand?

The length of hose doesnt really have anything to do with the power.... Unless ur sayin like a t connector and turn ur hose on to create suction?

I attached my plastic tube to a garden hose with a fitting I bought from lowes and run it out my front door. It will suck up any poo I run the tube over.

I never thought about using a hose. I just have standard tubing to siphon with but am going to get something long enough so I can siphon the water out of my window. Will be much easier then hauling buckets.

@Tiller: Your using the gravel attachment? For sand you don't use that. The suction power is cut in half versus just using the hose.

It's just the consequences of using sand. Deal with it. I just leave any small bits or take the gravel vac attachment off. If that doesn't work then your screwed.

Yes the length doesnt matter. The larger hose diameter causes a huge increase in suction power. Like I said any poo is easily sucked up with the plastic tube attached. If im not careful it will fill the entire tube with sand and clog it up. I dont live on a different planet, our gravity is the same. I guarantee this works.
