Always depends, somtimes a few times a week, sometimes once a week.. Some people do once a month, it all depends.

i'd like to here what you have in there, also tank size and what your running in it. then i'll do my best to help. but really you have to "clean" every tank in someway. a 20 percent or higher water change should be done once every 2 weeks or something around there, just to ensure good water levels.

i try to at least once a week, but sometimes i forget and its once every 2 weeks.

what exactly does "clean your tank" mean? Are you talking about water changes? cleaning the glass? Removing detritus?

I personally do 50% water changes every week of course I sweep the gravel during the change. Scrub the walls with my algee most every week but skip that every once in a while. It's easier to maintain that way and better for the fish as well.

Don't forget the Prime.
