I personally do 50% water changes every week of course I sweep the gravel during the change. Scrub the walls with my algee most every week but skip that every once in a while. It's easier to maintain that way and better for the fish as well.

Don't forget the Prime. :)
that's a good answer.....what is prime?

I do 25% water changes every week of course I sweep the gravel during the change aswell sometime I get lazy and do it twice a week. I just really wanted to know if its better for my fish to do my water changes every 2-3 times a week or every 4-5 times? At the moment I have a 75g that houses (1) 4"green severum, (1) 4"chocolate cichlid, (2)2.5 hrp-leucistic, (2) 2-2.5"nanos, (3) 2"red hump geos (1)3"oreochromis tanganicae for now . But I'm thinking about selling the (3) red hump geos when there some what 5 to 6 inches and the oreochromis tanganicae when he gets 5-6 inches as well.

if you fart in a 2'x3'x6' closet....wouldn't you want fresh air quick?????

same thing with fish.

what does it do?

thanks for the picture. to bad it's not pop up.:naughty:

remeber that to many water changes can cause problems just the same as too little. if your filtration is up to the job then weekly 30% change is a good figure. also a razor blade is really good for cleaning the glass

throw yourself and a dozen of your friends in a pool. Have another friend outside of the pool come bring you all food when your hungry, but dont get out. How often would you want your water changed!?:Dlol
On a serious note a do about 40% a week but it really depends on what size tank, how many fish, filtration, ect.

It removes chlorine from tap water. Perfect if your using a python for changes.
