Hey guys just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for some clean up crew members for my 80g. Im not sure what will work with my new baby Delhezi thats 4". I just don't want him/her to eat whatever cleanup crew i get when it starts to grow. I also have a 3" JD, 6" severum and 2" salvini.

thanks :)

yes, because i am trying to see what will work with my poly, and cichlids.

Apple snails

So some clown loaches it is ! thanks, anything for the algae??

I use white spotted bristlenose pleco for algae and trumpet snails. Bristlenose are algae eating machines that aren't interested in eating slime coat, but they stay small some only get to 6" if that.

Are you seeing left over food in the tank? If it's strictly algae you're worried about, try cutting down the number of hours your lights are on, or use less intense lighting which will actually be better for your bichirs behaviors anyways.

You really don't want to 'need' a clean up crew. If you want tankmates that's one thing, but adding fish to take care of a problem in the tank is not addressing the real problem.

With that said, if you're just looking for tankmates, some synodontis would look cool (natives to africa) and so would baryancistrus plecos like L200, Mangos, Gold Nugget, etc....
