"cleanup crew"

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
surprisingly, my delhezi is extremely active when the lights are on :s my ornate before barely ever use to swim around, but this one pends most of its time mid-tank. i just wanted some cool bottom feeders to pickup the left over food and something for the algae on the rocks and stuff

My recomendation is feed less. Adding more fish will only strain your biological filtration. Which is the same thing as overfeeding. My "clean up crew" are my silver dollars and lima shovelnose.

My SD are great at that! Them and my Danio, nothing hits the bottom without them picking at it

I actually planned on getting some syndontis in my tank with 2 senegals... But I don't think the bichirs would have a chance to eat... They move to the food slowly and it takes them a while to find it...

I think the cleanup crew aside from snails would out compete the bichir for food? Is that not the case?
