Where ever i'm at!
I picked up a 40G 36"x15"x16". The drip plate with holes in it was missing. I got the right size peice of acrylic and was hoping someone could tell me about how many holes are in it and about what size the holes are? Or maybe even post a close up picture of the drip plate. Thanks

hmm, drip plate for what?

Seriously? Ok I have a Clear-for-Life UniQuarium! It has built in overflow filtration built into the back of the tank. After it overflows it spills onto a drip plate and then onto the bio balls chamber.

Seroiusly? Never heard of a "UniQuarium" before this thread.:chillpill:

I set a 55 up for the lobby at work. It's a pretty awesome set up. I have pics of it set up, but not of the drip plate. I'd guess they're about 1/2 inch apart. I can take a pic of the plate and measure for you tomorrow.

I've never heard of them before either, but I would just drill small holes about 1/8 inch or so in a 1 inch by 1 inch pattern. Fill the system with water and see how it flows. If it looks like it might overflow or the water gets too high, make the holes larger or drill more holes.

The first post explained exactly what I was talking about and then he posted "drip plate for what" :screwy: thus my response.

No sweat man. The one that comes with it is actually a tray with 4 thin sides. I'll take a some pics with a ruler which might help. I have it set with a heater and airstone in the first chamber. Took out some of the bio balls, added in a bag of eheim substrat pro, a polishing pad, and a sponge from an AC 70. It's a sweet set up. Deal was I'd set it up and teach them how to take care of it. I currently have 11 tanks set up at home, and I sure as hell wasn't going to take care of one at work too. Besides they wanted the decor to match the lobby. :screwy:
