clear water with driftwood????????

going to have a blast if it boils or not. but i did raise it up 12" with steel to trap heat under it. and i have the wood stacked "tee pee" style bout 3/4 the way up. gunna be decent size fire. kids are real excited we just got 8" of snow today!!! sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

sadly was not able to boil the driftwood, but got the water clear in just a few hours!!!! i now have 2 fx5s. i set up the first one up with a massive amount of biomax to harbor bacteria. the second one i used carbon socks (40-50 ounces holy s@%&) and filter pads in all 3 trays. cant believe how much carbon i used, but wanted to ensure there was enough. may have went overboard, but it turned out sweet!!!
