how does everyone keep they water crystal clear? my parameters are :
amonnia: 0
nitrates: 5ppm
Nitrites: 0

I make sure every single weekend i do water changes on our tanks and they are always clear

i do the same.. iono my tank might be going through a bacterial bloom right now. but i do wc every sunday or everyother sunday. so ill just wait for the best.

How long do you leave the lights on in the tank? Is the tank near a window? I constantly deal with an algae bloom in one of my tanks because my kids wont leave the blinds shut, If I notice the tank is clouding up I just leave the light off for a day or two, and when I turn it back on its crystal clear. You could try to shorten the amount the lights are on in the tank by a few hours a day, hope this helps.

Actually, clear water isn't always healthy. Even if your water is cloudy, your parameters are really good, so count your lucky stars.
