My fish are screwed... My family'd try to take care of them for a little while and sell them for terrible prices. They always ask how much my oscar is worth because he's "so big!". They'd probably slap a $50 tag on him, but the xanthic xiloaensis would be sold for $5, because he's "so ugly".
The fish all go to my mom. She's the only one that would know where to start and how to take care of them. Between her and my G/F they would do ok. AND they CAN'T sell them. My big tank goes over to my parents house. And the others can either stay here or go to. but Nothing is sold. If anything goes it goes for free.
Once my fish all die my son takes the tanks and cares for anything he wants. And since he wont' be born until april I hope my fish live for a long while.
My husband would try to take care of my puffers for awhile. They would all be overfeed, leading to an ammonia spike or them dying from overeatting. Any that survived the ammonia spike would die a slow death later from the build up of nitrates in the tank or due to an aglae bloom that dies off and takes away all the oxygen because he'll forget the water changes. I guess I better put the water changes and feed schedules in my will.
