Cliff - as requested!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Nah, he's good in that 30 for life. LOL!
Yes, I just bump the tank sizes up as he grows. He'll go in a pond obviously.

Now, after all your asking around for info and help on S glanis and getting basically nothing, it would look like you are the only one atm in position to educate all of us on how to take care of a wels, how it grows, behaves, feeds, etc. Good start. Good job.

Guys
If you read my previous posts, I was not looking for help, or answers. I was curious to hear other people's experiences.
But, yes, it seems like you are right - I might be the MFK source of information on personal experiences with this species. Maybe I should start a write up for a sticky? What do you guys think?

Sorry, yes, there is a substantial difference. I should have stopped at "info".

I cannot imagine any one arguing against that. If I understand it correctly, any thread can be made into a sticky at any point. I think it has to be a quality thread though, something like this: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?499457-Wallago-Attu-the-experience

Wels are not native to the UK, there are only a handful of places that have them.:)
