Yanking your chain, bro. Here shines my barbaric nature. Again.
He probably hasn't even read those posts. His last message and last time he was seen says 206 Saturday I posted at 211 and you later so if we offended him with our newb barbarism my friend then he must have been made of the most powdery form of snow flakes. Unless I've missed something that got deleted? I didn't think anyone was being mean do you? I wasn't and never do try to be mean sometimes the truth hurts though.twentyleagues Looks like we are the barbaric and sadistic kinds, deriving pleasure from inflicting pain on newbees.

According to the OP, his 9-year old son Amir thinks this is what's done.Who on earth came up with that?
Nothing. It's all here.Unless I've missed something that got deleted?
No. I am 50% fooling around, being "funny", as I stated in the post, but 50% wondering in retrospect if we possibly could have been too harsh. In any case, looks like we lost another new MFK member.I didn't think anyone was being mean do you?
Right. This is the situation where I, for one, often don't have enough tact and diplomacy to handle it right and state my belief / truth and not turn off the other party. On the other hand, of course, dancing around the subject can get tiresome...... sometimes the truth hurts though.
Yeah, apparently someone told him that.I was just wondering how whoever came up with that.According to the OP, his 9-year old son Amir thinks this is what is done..
That was probably because he was going to eat it. I don't know about SeaWorld but at a local aquarium they have their barbs. Yes they allow you to interact with the rays. It seems the rays are quite attracted to people. There are employees at every touch station and they give you info and warnings. You sign something upon entering that says animals are unpredictable and you are responsible for your safety and will be held accountable for any misconduct. I've only been once it's like $25 per person to get in and it's not that big. I've been to nicer and larger for the same or less.I've actually wondered if the stingrays you can pat at SeaWorld had their spines surgically removed or not.
I've seen a guy when I was fishing as a kid break brake the spines of an eel tailed catfish with pliers while it was still alive so it couldn't spike ham. So some people have stupid ideas.
Well technically catfish do secrete a venom from their spines. It's just a very mild neurotoxin that is designed to only cause the nerves to flare in pain as a deterrent to would-be predators. Yeah it'll ache and throb for a couple hours but it's definitely not enough to go to the hospital over, it'll make ya regret what ya did tho that's for sure. Lol can't even begin to count how many times I've gotten stung while fishing.Probably saw it in a YT video or some such or heard that the spines are dangerous and contain a venom etc.
