Cloning the Wolly Mammoth

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
they could also clone the saber tooth cats aswell ... i think anything that has gone extinct ... should be brought back if at all possible
its our fault there dead ... why not bring back species that we killed off ... obviously we shouldn't bring back things that could really be detrimental to our society like t-rexs lol ... like with the saber tooth cats ... i do not thing they should be released if they are recreated

First off you sound really contradicting. How do you know we (humans) killed off mammoths and saber tooths?

I want a T rex. mammoth is boring.
NO!....too much of a liability. The saber tooth on the other hand is second favorite prehistoric animal so bring them on...er back.

As a food, yes. Mammoth would be awesome. They probably grew quickly. And you get a lot of meat off of one animal.

Would that be considered bushmeat?

I would like to see a Short Faced Bear............can't leave out the SFB they haven't been gone too long for some good DNA to be floating around somewhere. The spectacled bear could be used thay are supposed to be the closest living relative.

so your telling me that all the hieroglyphs of nomads killing mammoths isnt real ?

There is a Russian scientist who bought a huge piece of land in Siberia and is trying to recreate what it looked like before we started interfering. He has introduced large vegetarian animals like musk oxes and horses and wants to put cloned mammoths there, too. I'll find his name and post it here.
