FYI...she ate four whole night crawlers this morning! Hopefully she puts back on the weight soon. I will keep her isolated until I see some consistency. She looks to be on the mend.

Hope she pulls threw hystrixs are one of my favorite species of ray!!
The only reason id venture back to fresh water is if I had a big enough tank for freshwater rays to house them for life

She's eating...she isn't back to normal yet so I'm keeping her in a tank by herself and watching her closely. She ate 3 whole night crawlers this morning...Good signs!

UPDATE:

So she's up to six night crawlers a day (3 in the morning and 3 at night) and she's moving rather lucidly. At times it still appears as if her breathing is labored. She just does not appear back to normal yet. But I am happy for the small victories.

I am still hesitant to move her back to the larger tank she came from. I may give her another week or so alone.
