Close Up - L27 Xingu Royal Pleco

Couple questions, Mr. Jason;
1- 8-9"? That's my guess...help me out here.
2- female? I'm guessing based on the lack of odontodes. But, it also looks like a nice thick cheek patch for them. If I remember right, you have a BEC that lost odontodes from shipping stress, but they grew back. (Or am I mixing people up?) The fish LOOKS like it should have them there, but, they are gone!
Really, though, fine fish and vid. I liked the last one, too, bit the close up just nails how gnarly cool royals can be!

He is 15", not sure on sex, yes the BEC lost them and is still slowly growing them back, this one never had them from the point it or the other one was brought in, but I hope they grow back, my L191 is growing them back nicely after he lost 90% or so. The BEC is probably 18" now, its is a good 2" inches longer but this guy has a much larger head.
