When I built my 3000+ gal pond I never made shelves in it to put plants on, is it ok to buy those plastic round/rectangle clothes baskets with holes in them and turn them upside down to set plants on? I will also cut out the holes to make bigger holes so it can be hiding spots for my fish also.

im not sure but i dont see why it would be a problem, i might try rubbermaid containers they would be more sturdy, less likely to fall over.

do what above said, try rubbermaid containers. Lets see pics of your pond too.

i would use clothes baskets before rubbermaids, they will allow water to flow more readily through them

but if he cut holes in them would it really make a difference?

outside of memphis, your the only other person ive seen from tn. where are you at? im gonna guess on the east side.

oh not too far at all, i know people that go to school there. do you live there, or just for school?
