Cloudy eye with growth- pls help

I rescued a large silver arowana and it has cloudy eye and has now developed a growth on the one eye as well. I have been doing a 40% water change daily and have added 1tsp of salt per gallon. Is there anything else I should/could try? It's been like this for almost a week, but the growth has just recently appeared.View attachment 1019299

Current temperature in the tank is 82

Sounds like your doing everything right. Keep up the water changes and adding salt. Maybe you can try raising the temp to about 86.

Okay I will try that. Is it normal for fish to get a growth when they get cloudy eye?

I'm more concerned about the bump than the cloudy eye. I know the cloudy eye should go away after time and clean water, but what do I do about the lump?

Can anyone put my mind at ease and tell me the lump is common with cloudy eye? Or is it something else that I should be putting meds in the water for?

The best way I can describe it is that it looks like cottage cheese on his eye

I'm hoping it's not gas bubble disease. Can anyone tell me different or let me know what I can do to help the aro.

It's maybe a fungus that formed with the cloudy eye. I would keep doing what your doing. I think it will clear up soon.
