cloudy tank

it seems that i have to deal with a problem almost every day, today i woke up to a cloudy tank. i know its not because its dirty because i take care of that stuff. last night it was fine, this morning... cloudy.


any fast solutions?

A partial water change is a quick solution, but may do more harm. How long has the tank been set up? What are the levels?

Is there a chance the particular tank isn't cycled, if not you should really check all your tests, because something has probably gone awry.

ammonia nitrite and nitrate should be fine, ph is about 7.5, temp is around 83 because of ich remedy. i live with someone who has a habit of adding stuff to everything, maybe he thought my tank needed some improvment, and added half a bottle of clarifier

You need to test the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels. "Should be fine" won't giva anyone any info to help.

How long has the tank been set up? When was the last water change, gravel siphon?

last water change and gravel siphon was about 4 or 5 days ago. i need to test the levels again when i get home

more filtration. what size tank and what do you have for fish

filtration shouldnt be the issue. i got a 20g. i got a few african chiclids, two dragon gobys and a peacock eel

If those are adults that is quite a few fish for a 20g. might need more filtration
