this tank has been runnig clear for 9 months now. I put some drift wood in and it tannis the water. So in mean time I had some fighting oscars , one got beat up a little. So I pulled the drift wood and boiling it again and add stress coat help fish heal up . fish is heal fine but water gots a light green color to it now. I run my lights only 8 hr. a day water is at 79 deg. ammonia is 0 niterite-0 niterate-20 ph-7.0 . My ? is would stress coat turn the water a light green. I normaly use prime but because of hurt fish I used stress coat. and do weeky water change 15 gal. in the 75 gal. tank but also have been doing two changes for the past two week to help the fish. trying to get water clear again. and I'm useing carbon and it's fresh.:nilly:

I would say check for direct sunlight... Also a uv sterilizer might clear up the free floating algae

it is not in direct sunlight at all and the lighting around it is not bright . what coulld sause it , will cover tank with blanket for a couple days and see what happens .
