I don't have a water tester kit but I will surely get one. It's not a white haze as I originally mentioned it's actually more of a greenish haze so I'm guessing algae?

Your guess sounds correct, in that case there a few ways to correct the situation.

- UV

- reduce the amount of light the tank is exposed to.

- reduce the amount of excess nutrients in the water column

- use Seachem Purigen
