Cloudy water, help!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Glad to hear about the filter. I have no experience with Big Als bio-support, so good luck with that. It may work very well, just be sure to check the levels daily for the first couple weeks and do water changes until they are acceptable (if you have a problem). Your JD is going to love having a tank that size to himself. Are you adding any dithers or bottom dwellers?

Got the filter today! I picked it up off a friend. Its a compact 50 gallon filter and it is on the left side of the tank, with a 10 gallon filter on the right side. so it should be enough in total. I also have a little flow generator to create some current

I am going to be checking levels whenever possible, my LFS does free water parameter checks so I didn't ever feel the need to buy my own testing kit. So ill run some water up to them whenever possible and water change as needed

Thanks to all the helpful, respectful people. a word of advice, don't be so rude to new-comers to the hobby. How would you like it if you set up a snake enclosure and I acted rude about the "wrong things you did"

there is no such thing as wrong with animals. There is conventional and non-conventional

I took the non-conventional entry into fish keeping. So yes, flame away for me trying to do the right thing. And, ill say again his water is visibly FINE.

so I hope that ended the childish, rude flaming
