I set up my 125 and im running 2 penguin 350 hang on the back filters. The water became cloudy once and then cleared up. Since then it went back to cloudy and been cloudy for more then a week... what is the cause of this and how can i fix this? its very ugly to look at.. Thanks in advance.

The tank cycled for only a few days during the process a broke my 36 gal and had no other spot for my fish lol. THe tank cleared up in a week but then became cloudy and is only getting worse. I have 5 fish there all small and i feed them about once every 3 days.

Three things you have to test for:
Ammonia" (toxic fish waste) is converted by bacteria into
"Nitrite" (toxic as well) then converted by a second type of bacteria into
"Nitrate"(basicaly harmless in low concentrations) that gasses off in the Aquarium.

Btw How did you know the tank was cycled if you don't have test kits?:irked:

Anyways high ammonia and high nitrite are what causes cloudy tanks most of the time, I don't think your tank is cycled yet.

Thank you so much! much appreicated. Also If i change 10% should i use same exact water temp or if i go a little higher or lower will it affect water and fish?
