The third pic is the most accurate. I like the second pic though it really emphasizes the front legs, which are jointed backwards. These legs make the monster look phoney IMO. Still think your first pic looks nothing like the movie monster, sorry just my opinion.
In a trailer for the movie, you do see it. But you must train you eyes very good to see it. Some movies on youtube put it in slow-mo and after a few times you see it, you figure out what the monster looks like. Somewhat like Godzilla.
I am Sci-Fi guru....I am a Jedi-Trekkie Hybrid...(more Jedi though)....This Cloverfeild movie was a waste of time....And to think I saw the 11pm show....I went home grumpy, really grumpy(because of the movie)....The wording on Blair Witch was more stimulating than Clover(and I ognored Blair Witch)....The guys crying for his lady is still etched in my brain, someone get it out!!!!!!!!!!!Throughout the movie, I kept thinking to myself,"Kill yourself hopeless Romeo...If not you, then please lord, someone please slap him..."

After the movie was over, I said, " Thats it?" Great effects , but yeah after this ended I was feeling a little cheated? Maybe they just wanted to leave us hanging so bad just to keep us talking about it, and searching for some answers ? BETH!!!BETH!!

there's supposed to be two more movies so hopefully things will get explained a little further. What we know now is that it's probably an alien (thanks to the end scene at coney island) and that, after the credits rolled, "it's still alive." So don't give up hope yet.
