what type of bichirs some will get out grown but all bichirs can be kept with clown at some point you will need larger ones for big clown but bichirs make great tank mates for clown knifes just don't let the clown be with small bichirs
also when young they don't mind each other but when they get bigger they get territorial with each other so get 1 knife or a group of 3 or more
