thanks.. i like the pattern being unique ... but i also like the straight "O"s too... what counts most is the health and personality, everything else is a plus....sbuse;3784150; said:nice...i like the 8's aswell...i have mixed feelings on the spot pattern mine has...as cool as it is to have the pattern do the crasy things, i would kinda like the large circles that my 12" has to just stay perfictly round and get bigger...nice ck you have though, one of a kind...

..don't worry i am watching them close...my cats seem to like balas as a snack, but not ck, or small oscars...i understand your feelings... but the reality is they are predators and they are only caught in the wild where their natural instinct is to survive.. once they are caught they may or may not be fed.. if they are fed they are thrown live food.. once you get them home.. you must continue to feed live until they are strong and big enough to be fed pellets.. mine i did feed guppys to for a couple of weeks.. then i started the weaning process... and now as big as my guy is... he has lost desire for tankmates.. he only eats cooked shrimp and pellets and silversides... so it is a learned behavior.. next time if you get one.. train him first then add him to the main tank.. mine was 4 inches when i got him...keep in mind the arrow would have eaten the knife if he were the bigger guy... the arow is the same way.. as in almost all fish...in general...monster or not.... but i do understand how losing your green arow was upsetting... ..Vincentii;3786248; said:awesome pics reddevil. how big did you have that clown knife when you got it?
i gad one of these last spring. it was about 4'' and i introduced a new 3'' green arowana (thinking it was safe) went and made a cup of tea and the arowana dissapeared. realised a few seconds later that the clown knife swallowed it. so as much as i think yours is amazingly good looking. i've got to say i dont like these fish! true monsters! uhhh!
Thats what is most important to me... personality.. and being healthy...sbuse;3786163; said:true...i love how mine is layed back yet stays active in the day...also i not scared of anything....it even stole shrimp from my 20" tsn..don't worry i am watching them close...my cats seem to like balas as a snack, but not ck, or small oscars...
