Clown Knife Fish, How To Pellet Train?

I got mine in March of last year around at all around 3 inches. Grew them to 6 inch in a 40 and then moved to a 180. Doing 50% waterchanges weekly. Final tank will be around 8'x3'x2'. Average on 1 to 1.5" per month until around 14" I would assume then growth starts to slow a bit with them eventually reaching 18"-26" in most captive bred ones.
 
How much growth would you expect in a year? not sure if mine is CB or not, but i would assume it is, what size tank did you grow them out in?
 
I would say around 12 inches growth in the first year, as I said I grew them out in a 40g then 180g at the moment.
 
Just feed pellets only, mine was eating feeder fish when I got him at 12 inches. I only ever feed massivore, it took him under a week to eat pellets only, just don't drop anything in the tank you don't want him to eat, simple. and take out your hiding spots and he will become much more active
