sorry i'am a catfish freak ;) so the red tail hybrids are out of the picture but what about some TSN hybrids also i can not upgrade more than a 500g so will this work

500g 3 ID sharks 2 brycon 2 peacock bass an achara catfish a marbled sailfin catfish a TSN a juruense a TSN hybrid a black arowana and a payara and or belodontichthys dinema or some other catfish

Wayy too much for a 300g. Unless that last stock list you posted was for the future 500 upgrade.

Do not get the payara, 100% it will beccome a snack.

Also do some research youself insted of constantly looking for instant answers here. You won't learn anything that way. Not trying to be rude, but seems like your not sure what your getting into yet. The more knowlege you can take in now, the better your future with this hobby will be, both for you and your fish.

Good luck with the new tank. Start off slow, don't rush into it and get in over your head.

I wouldn't get an ID shark they get 4ft and a payara will kill all of those fish a TSN hybrid will get way too big for that tank you would need in te range of 1000 to 1500 depending on the hybrid a regular one would probally still need about a 1000 im not trying to be a know it all I just want your fish to be happy :)

Also if you want a RTC X TSN you best be looking for a 4000 gallon tank because they get bigger then a RTC also for a TSN or a hybrid one I would probally still get a 2500 to 4000 depends on the breed but all those catfish require huge tanks and sorry about the mix up in tank sizes I remembered that TSN get about the same as a red tail

A payara wouldn't kill big cats like those unless very very small. Your thinking Armatus, payaras bigger brother.

Well yeah if a 4 foot payara tryed attacking a 6 foot red tail(I think they get that big) the payara would be sucked up and either way a payara is not fitting in a 500 gallon hahaha I hate sounding like a know it all but I'm just speakin my mind lol

i plan on getting the 500g so i could get more fish and why i check with you guys on MFK is because i can't rely on the internet because when i 10 and only had a 40g i had a BIG ammonia spike and many fish died until it was just one suncat and i relied to the internet for answers it but it just made the ammonia spike worse until i actually met a reliable source witch wasn't the internet and since i lost trust in the internet but don't get me wrong i still you the internet also not trying to make a sob story so anyways what is slippery k's opinion on the hybrid cats and what kind of hybrid can survive with:

a dovii or some other cichlids or maybe no cichlids and the other fish listed above that were not ruled out by slippery k also i will do some research

Cichlids I know nothing about, but if you choose that route by all means go for it. There are some nice cichlid species out there.

As for the 300g a CK will do fine as long as the tank is min 24" wide. An Archara cat will be ok depending on the rest of your stock, I believe they max out around 12" in captivity. Redtails and tsn get massive and need a footprint of 6'x10' or a pond. A Armatus reaches 2'+ and would most likely kill your entire tank (mine lives with a single delhezi). The pbass would do great in a 300g. Of course in the end its all up to you on what you want to put in there.

If I were you id make the 2 pbass the centerpiece fish, and use a few cats and maybe a top swimmer like a arow to highlight the pbass.
