Hey guys. For a couple days my clown knife has been jumping a lot and sometimes hitting its head on the glass top. At first I thought it was a water quality issue and he was trying to get the hell out of there, but it tested fine. Ammonia 0, Nitrites 0, Nitrates 10-20 ppm. After watching him for a while, I noticed he was attacking the bubbles from the sponge filter at the surface. He's not starving (eats silversides and frozen krill like there's no tomorrow!)
I figured after a couple times whacking his head, he would learn his lesson, but it's non-stop. Is this normal? Should I lower the water level or take out the sponge filter?
