clown knife problem

Did you clean and presoak the pipe before putting it in? They can leak out chemicals if not properly cleaned. It's usually not enough to harm the fish but some fish react differently than others

i cleaned it but that's it. it hasn't been in the ck's tank for over a month. He only eats at night now so hopefully he is bouncing back. i think it was do to my jack dempsey and jaguar cichlid which aren't far of the ck for size and bullied him but they've been moved to a new tank.

Is there anything else in the tank with him? I'm going through a similar situation right now with my large clown.

He used to be the king of my tank, and took the lions share of food each night. Recently though, my Odoe pike has started taking most of the food, and the clown seems to have turned completely recessive in his behavior.

I was just curious if you fish has recently gone from the king of the tank to second in command?
