I see in the background that those "caves" have some rough edges. It's a possibility that they were scratching themselves against it or they may be fighting. Mixing CKs isn't always a definite, so that can also be a possibility.

For me personally, I'd be looking at upgrading to at least a 200 gallon tank.. CK's are gorgeous fish, but they get big, and way too many people are utterly unprepared for them.
not trying to bring you down in any way, I just don't want you to get into real dire straits. If you start off with a tank big enough for their eventual size, you won't be loading them off onto your LFS in two years time, admitting that you didn't think things through well enough.
Just my thoughts.
