Ack! sorry posted under hubbies again, too darn early I really need to pay attention. Anyways-----
Thanx the avatar is a pic of my ck. I do believe they get more spots I am not positive though. Does anyone else know if they get more spots?

Mine have all gotten more spots as they have grown. It is really cool to see the spots start out small and grow bigger with the fish. I also find it interesting that they have a different number of spots on each side.

As for the plants, I don't think my guys care one way or another. They used to occassionally lie behind the plants, but otherwise paid no attention to them. They also had no trouble swimming around and through them. I eventually got rid on most of the plants because they kept getting up rooted when I fed live fish. The feeders would try and take shelter in the plants, but the knives just chomped on the fish AND the plant. They wouldn't eat the plants however but would just spit them out. The plants that were best were Valesneria because they grew nice and tall and the fish could easily maneuver through them.

It may take a little while for your guy to swim through your arches and he will most likely do this when the lights are out. But it depends on your specific fish. I have 4 and one of them does not care for arches, pvc pipe, or anything else she can swim though. But onother one loves them and just hangs out in a 6" pvc pipe for hours. :)

thanks for the info, its true about the spots mine has 6 on one side and 5 on the other. two of my friends came over and got into the biggest drunken argument on how many spots it had, one person only saw one side and the other saw the oposite side. possibly one of the funniest thing ive seen in a while.
