CLown loach desease

hi guys, I own a clown loach for about a year, and I love him very much... I just lost a balloon ram that seems to had the same disease as my Clown... that almost looks like Hole in the Head......didn't know loaches could get that.... what size tank do you have him in? how often do you change water and what other fish are in the tank w/ your loach

No nitrate test kit? What about the foods?

I change my water one a week maybe 15 to 20 %
125 gallon tank and i have red tail shark, geophagus surinamis, 2 synodontis leopardis, 4 rosy barbs, 3 rasboras d'espe 1 fire eel( she's very tiny)
He eats normally too..
