What size is this tank? Even your convict will be eaten eventually. IMO, avoid the jag.

Agreed, you didn't say the size of the tank. Loaches are OK with a SA cichlid. If you have more than one, the aggression can send them into hiding. If they start a nest, they will attack your loaches. I would also do more than three, they feel strength in numbers.

180g so i think thats enough space to get away from the jag if nessisary

The Jag is fine, I would just avoid having more than one cichlid.

If the cichlids get aggressive with each other, you'll never see the loaches. If they start a nest, they'll start attacking the loaches.
