At the lfs where I work at, someone put a Clown Loach in with the baby African cichlids to eat the snails, it faired poorly. When I saw it, it was COVERED in ICH. I figured it would be dead by the end of the day, not much I could do. Next day, GONE. About three days later I noticed a fish in the land crab tank. Upon closer inspection, it was the same loach. Someone put him in there to be eaten by the crabs. We had high temps for 3 days prior, and the store temp was at 94 degrees, which cured the ich, so he was alive and ich free, but in the crab tank left for dead. I scooped him out of there, and he is in one of my tanks recovering from the shredded fins the crabs gave him. I think it'll be OK. Hopefully I saved him from ich/crab doom. I will post pics of the little survivor when I get the chance.

nice save. an employee but two archer fish in the p tank to be eaten. he said he figured they were too far gone with ich to save, they are doing fine in recovery tanks and should be back for sale by wednesday
Sweet rescue man. I used to buy out loaches at the mom and pop stores and try to save them from their ich doom.
