So hows he doing?

In perfect shape, living in harmony with my other loaches. I have about 10 smaller clowns with it, 1 tiger loach, 2 queen loaches, 3 striata loaches, 2 sumo loaches, 2 weather loaches, A yo-yo, and a burmese.

The best way to treat ich is with heat and salt. Ditch the meds unless it is absolutley necessary. Heat is actually better, as it slows the life cycle of the ich parasite. I haven't lost a loach to ich in years.

ewurm means the heat speeds up the life cycle. You want to ich to go through their life cycle as fast as possible, because you can only kill the ich in a certain stage of their life, and if you turn the heat up they get to that stage very fast, and can be killed with the salt.

so for any ich, just turn the temperature up and add salt.....come to think of it fishkeeping is like cooking.

Oops, that's what I meant. It speeds up the life cycle. Sorry, typo.
